Summary:
 
The Program Management role entails a wide range of activities on both the strategic and the tactical level. You will engage with a talented team of business peers and apply your knowledge in Project Management best practices to drive and implement our solutions from our HCM and ESM practice areas. You will engage with clients through complex programs utilizing effective management of business value, risk, content, communication, knowledge and resources.

Responsibilities:

Program/Project Management
  • Serve as main communication point between executives, the project team and key project stakeholders (steering committee)
  • Be our eyes and ears and ensure the health of each engagement
  • Build strong personal and professional connections with clients
  • Manage multiple projects varying in complexity involving multiple work streams running in parallel
  • Understand project scope, deliverables, project plan and timelines
  • Manage all phases of the implementation of the project from the preliminary phase to the planning and solutions delivery to the clients.   
    • Create and own administrative deliverables for each project: project plan, timeline/budget,                 communication plan, scoping alignment 
    • Ensure that all key project deliverables, presentations and meetings are in-line with the objectives of the project, the agenda and content are valuable to the client and are presented and communicated in an engaging dynamic way
    • Oversee the work of the Solutions Architect(s) and Solutions Analyst(s) assigned to the project o Ensure overall quality of delivery
  • Understand the success criteria of each client engagement and ensure that the project work being executed directly impacts success 
  • Work with delivery team to update and align systems to ensure that project status, timelines and resource allocations are maintained with complete accuracy
  • Monitor timelines, budget and resource utilization according to objectives and specifications laid out in project plan
  • Communicate all issues to Practice Leads and Sales prior to reaching critical status as it relates to changes to timelines, budget and resource utilization
  • Handle all related tasks aimed at project completion and effectively address project challenges
  • Facilitate project close meeting and ensure client follow-up: review of metrics, customer feedback (NPI scores), 60 and 90 day client check in lessons learned , completion of case studies
 
 Project Operations
  • Define and own a project management standard that fits within the BusinessForward approach and methodology
  • Provide input into resource scheduling and availability through maintaining an accurate picture of resource allocations
  • Create and utilize KPIs to make continuous improvements to processes and approach to future projects
  • Recommend ways to improve from lessons learned to create efficiencies in approach and/or delivery
  • Promote the implementation of project management/project control best practices
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or IT related field. Master’s degree and PMP certification is a plus
  • 8+ years of experience in a progressively responsible Project Management role 
  • Creative and innovative, with 5-8 years of experience working in a consulting environment 
  • Possess a pragmatic streak with a keen set of listening, empathy and engagement skills
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and experience working in a consulting capacity
  • Work effectively with team members and clients from diverse disciplines
  • Be enthusiastic to assume responsibility and accountability
  • Have a keen ability to evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of action
  • Show clear, focused attention to detail
  • Ability to organize and lead meetings with high efficiency and effectiveness
